How it works

the loop.

Four steps, in order. Each one is a key.

  1. 01

    Step 1: refine

Every supported stock token counts as a raw material. There is no wrapper token: crafting pulls the stock straight into the Good.

  2. 02

    Step 2: craft

Combine materials by recipe into a Good. A Good escrows every underlying stock.

  3. 03

    Step 3: cap

Each recipe has a per-season mint cap. Once it fills, that Good only trades on the secondary market, which is where a premium over NAV can form.

  4. 04

    Step 4: melt

Burn a Good at any time and the underlying stocks return to your wallet. The floor is always NAV.

FAQ

questions.

Short answers to the questions people ask first.

What is a Good?

A Good is a token minted by crafting materials according to a Season recipe. Components, Products and Megacity are all Goods. Every Good escrows the stock tokens it was made from.

Is every Good backed?

Yes. Crafting pulls the stock tokens into the Good, so each Good holds its full recipe of underlying stock at all times. There is no wrapper token in between.

What happens when a cap fills?

That recipe closes for the season. Existing Goods keep trading on the secondary market, and that is where a premium over NAV can form. Melting never reopens the cap.

Can I always melt?

Yes. Burn a Good at any time and its underlying stock tokens return to your wallet, less the melt fee. The floor of every Good is its NAV.

What does $RES do?

Half of every craft and melt fee buys $RES and burns it. Crafting a Megacity also burns $RES worth 25% of its NAV. $RES launches on Pons, and its ETH creator fees route to the same buyback.

When does a season end?

After 30 days. When Season 1 ends its recipes close, and Season 1 Goods can never be minted again. Melting stays open.

Are stock tokens shares?

No. They track an underlying asset and carry no shareholder rights.
